On a day to day basis I will shadow my trainer when completing tasks and then once trained learn to complete these tasks independently. I also complete coursework on a day to day basis because there is alot of coursework involved in this course. The main part of my role that I enjoy is that I am constantly learning new things each day, which is helping me to progress as a worker. Also I enjoy being involved in making improvements to the business which is part of the coursework, even if only small changes are being made.
In 2017 I am looking to develop my skills even more than I have already in the short period that I have been here. I also hope to achieve distinction criteria in my coursework this year. I want to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible to take my career as far as possible in the future.
The programme is good as I enjoy working as part of a team with other staff on the lines.
Feel as though my ideas are heard and get support when completing assignments which is very helpful.
Programme is fairly well structured and questions are straightforward. Somertimes difficult to get detail of evidence that is being requested when completing tasks. Also difficult to determine level of depth that needs to be completed during each assignment.
Alot of support from both mentor and trainer
Less involvement with employer but has monthly meetings with HR to review progress which I would say is enough.
