Management Consultant working on a variety of projects whilst completing a level 4 diploma and a certificate in management consulting with a provider called Kaplan.
Yes, relationship and communication skills have developed hugely due to extent of exposure to client sites. The skills you learn set you in a good stead for life.
It is varied and demanding, which results in a relatively enjoyable experience. I can't think of anything that would suit me better and therefore it has to be a relatively enjoyable experience.
Probably not as valued as I'd like to be. Praise is often given for only doing loads more than what is expected. However, I think in an environment with very high expectations, meeting the expectations should be more heavily praised than it currently is.
Poorly at time. Some of the resourcing arrangements are pretty illogical and thoughtless. The resourcing procedures lead to us being frustrated and senseless business decisions being made.
Not quite enough, short college days and infrequent phones calls with Kaplan. Poor style of teaching and learning - at the college days they literally just dictate information.
Enough - we are encourage to take our allocated time and everyone is understanding of us having our time off for college meaning that you never feel like a nuisance.
Reasonably so, the salary is okay but add ons and benefits are very good and save a significant amount of time and money over the course of a year of employment.
Yes loads, more than enough. Whether its charity or a school, there are plenty of opportunities to make your life seem a little bit more exciting that the normal 9-5.
