I am an 360 apprentice; this means I rotate around the different areas of the firm every 6 months. I am currently in Tax in a team of about 12. I am gaining a lot of experience from the older colleagues whilst being able to socialise with the younger colleagues, although I am the youngest in the team. Due to being an apprentice, a lot of the work at the start is admin based, but this becomes more interesting as my experience increases.
Excel skill, public speaking improved
I really enjoy it
Very; massive opportunities and rewards available for everyone. As apprentices they do not chuck us in the deep end straight away and as our hours are capped at 35 hours a week we don't get worn out
Well; clear structure and progression
A lot; BPP very useful with online links etc
A lot; management team there to help us
I can survive despite renting in London. I have been fine for money since moving down to London
Not so many social ones...but there are many opportunities such as volunteering and going back to visit your old school.
Yes
Really good way to start off your career; invaluable experience
Just get the grades and be confident and express who you really are in the assessment centre day
