Day to day I am writing code within my development team to meet objectives set by our client. We work in agile teams and so this means I also have day to day tasks of attending scrum standups, planning sessions, retrospectives and other scrum milestone meetings. It's a great environment to work in!
I can't even begin to explain how much I have learnt since working with Capgemini. Every week I am learning something new - it's great!
100% - I couldn't ask for anymore from my program. Being supported to complete my sponsored degree whilst completing my day to day role working with so many brilliant and passionate people.
Extremely - Capgemini is extremely good at rewarding its people for good pieces of work that make big impacts to our clients' business. It's a great place to work and I feel that both I and my skills are really appreciated within the work place.
Very well structured. I know in advance all dates for my on campus weekends at university, I am encouraged to plan in study days well in advance and I am aware of all of my exams and assignments that are coming up.
We receive 22 study days per year to allow us to take days off to do assignments and for exams. Our lecturers at the University are brilliant and really supportive to us that we are doing both a degree and full time job at the same time.
Capgemini give us study days and we can take them if we feel we need more time. However most support for my degree comes from my university tutors but the Capgemini GAP team is always there if I was struggling to help me.
Brilliantly - I feel my salary represents that Capgemini values me as an asset.
Yes - there are loads of social events that happen outside of work from football games, to nights out to charity events such as the palace to palace bike ride Capgemini take part in to support Princes Trust.
Yes
Brilliant start to your career - you gain experience and education at the same time whilst being paid much higher than other apprentices across other companies.
Be yourself 100% - Capgemini hires for who you are not for any particular kind of person. Be 100% honest in your application/interview etc and really show your personality - but that you can also listen to others at the same time
