I join my team and help with any projects we are currently working on. I am currently working with testing but am constantly learning more about different roles, so I can begin work into more complex projects.
I have completed an ISTQB FOundation testing course, and also learnt about new technologies and software used within the company.
I ma enjoying it, as the University work so far has been interesting, as well as actually spending time within my working environment.
I feel like I am cared for just as much as any other employee. I am always getting involved with work, and often feel like I am valued by the company.
The programmed is well organised and planned out by Capgemini. The induction to the course was useful, and allowed me to get a good insight into what I would be doing over the next 4 years.
We have constant support from Aston University, and are able to contact a range of people if we need help with anything we may be struggling on within our studies.
A lot of support is given by Capgemini, including support for any issues I may have relating to my work. I have many people I can ask for guidance, and advice in any new technologies I may be using.
My salary meets my costs fine, and I am perfectly happy with it so far. My living and travel costs are okay.
There are a lot of opportunities provided by the company, including opportunities for social events as well as opportunities for giving back to the GAP community by promoting the apprenticeship.
Yes
It is a fantastic company with friendly staff and great opportunities. The outcome from the degree is also fantastic.
Make sure you focus on the initial ALE lectures and work, as it gets very stressful if you leave it at first.
