  • Assisting in the preparation of reports for clients in private business and corporate tax. Prepararing tax computations and tax accounting work for corporates.

  • Currently working towards ATT qualification. Regularly attend internal training, both technical and soft skills. Learnt a lot about both tax and how to conduct myself in a business environment over my first 8 months.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The teams and people that I work with are great and they really do make it an enjoyable place to work. The culture at the company is positive and a high standard of work is expected. I have been given bits of the work can be quite dull but that is to be expected in the first year!

  • Management give praise and hard work is recognised.

  • Good system of internal training for new joiners as well as time off for college and professional qualification commitments.

  • Kaplan have been excellent.

  • Large support network at the firm. Everyone is assigned a buddy for day to day queries and a manager.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Salary is good for my age starting straight out of school, but it can seem unfair that we are doing the same job as graduates and being paid significantly less.

  • Plenty of activities and societies to get involved in outside of the office

  • Yes

  • Overall a good place to work with a good culture.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Look smart, prepare for the assessment centre and practice the online tests before taking them.
