Assisting in the preparation of reports for clients in private business and corporate tax. Prepararing tax computations and tax accounting work for corporates.
Currently working towards ATT qualification. Regularly attend internal training, both technical and soft skills. Learnt a lot about both tax and how to conduct myself in a business environment over my first 8 months.
The teams and people that I work with are great and they really do make it an enjoyable place to work. The culture at the company is positive and a high standard of work is expected. I have been given bits of the work can be quite dull but that is to be expected in the first year!
Management give praise and hard work is recognised.
Good system of internal training for new joiners as well as time off for college and professional qualification commitments.
Kaplan have been excellent.
Large support network at the firm. Everyone is assigned a buddy for day to day queries and a manager.
Salary is good for my age starting straight out of school, but it can seem unfair that we are doing the same job as graduates and being paid significantly less.
Plenty of activities and societies to get involved in outside of the office
Yes
Overall a good place to work with a good culture.
Look smart, prepare for the assessment centre and practice the online tests before taking them.
