Substation Cratsperson Maintenance on substation equipment We do basic or major work on equipment in substation to make sure that they work to the correct specification
Yes I have done a city and guilds course along with many others during my first couple of years as an apprentice and I feel they have really developed my skills a lot.
I really enjoy my work as it is very practical and I feel that I am progressing well through it.
I feel very valued as the one of our core values is one team and I believe that the company appreciates the work that we do.
The program is very well organized as we are supplied with a program at the start of each year and this program includes the location of the course the times and who the course is with.
We receive a lot of support whenever we need it and I think that everyone is really helpful. The company give you a ten weekly review to make sure everything is going ok and you are happy with everything you are doing.
I receive a lot of support from my employer as I can get a hold of them at all times and are always there to help me with any problems that I have.
I feel that the salary is very good for me as I am still young and don't have many outgoings.
The company have different sports and lounge area at night where you can go and sit with people and enjoy each others company.

They are very good company to work for and I feel that they have really improved my skills and learning while getting a good salary at the same time.
As long as you work hard and perform well you will be fine and looked after well.
