I work in the audit sector, which involves speaking to clients and ensuring that the financial statements they publish are accurate.
I have learnt how to audit, improved interpersonal skills, excel skills, and general IT.
I do not enjoy the programme very much, as there is a lot of pressure to pass exams as well as performing well at work. Quite a lot of the time, I feel isolated as I can work on small or stressed teams. Most of my colleagues are older than me so it is difficult to make friends.
The firm tries to show their employees that they are valued by assigning performance managers, and having people available to talk to if there are any problems.
It is not well organised at all. It is never clear who we should go to for help with issues, and when we do the responses are usually unhelpful and vague. There is very poor communication from the organisers.
Not a fair amount.
More suppport than the training providers, however we are treated as employees rather than young people, so it is hard for them to understand issues.
It is reasonable, but it does not nearly cover costs of living
No - hardly any time outside of work
