My current role is a technical business consultant within the technology and compliance area of the organisation. My daily tasks involve setting up meetings, updating project boards, and also creating presentations and reports.
Since starting the apprenticeship I have learned lots of new skills such as business organisation and data analysis, as well a developing existing skills like communication.
The people I work with are fantastic, and so are the opportunities and benefits of working for Santander.
Most times I feel very valued as I am given great opportunities to meet important stakeholders and get involved in big projects.
The programme is structured well, and works closely with the degree side of things.
There is support but it could be improved.
I receive a lot of support from Santander, for any type of issue/problem I may have.
It meets the costs adequately.
There are discounts and also company events that take place every year.
Yes
Santander is a fantastic company to work for. The opportunities, work-life, and also the people you work for are all second to none. It is almost like a second family, and on top of that there is always room for achievement and progression career-wise.
I would say to be yourself, and also to make sure that you listen to others, as teamwork is one of the core values of Santander, and without it you won't get very far!
