  • KPMG360 Apprentice My programme is a rotational programme which enables me to rotate around several client facing departments in the business. So far I have been in Audit, Corporate Finance Valuations, M&A tax and operational excellence

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes I have developed my skillset dramatically, this is mainly due to the supportive people around and the additional skill builds KPMG provides. In addition, I am currently taking the AAT and eventually the ACA.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I think my programme is great, it helps you develop personally and mentally. It has opened several opportunities and certainly would of not had these opportunities if I went to University.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by KPMG?
  • I feel valued but I feel they could do more as sometimes you feel like a small pieces in a big machine which is understandable but shouldn't happen.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Extremely structured, in some instances it is too structured and doesn't allow the individual to reach his/hers full potential.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • A lot of support from my training provider, I think they are extremely helpful and assist with my studies.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from KPMG, especially around exams etc. If you have any issues or thoughts you can always discuss them with someone at KPMG.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Salary is ok, they should pay more.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Lots of clubs, society's and events to attend, an extremely sociable firm with great people.

  • Yes

  • Good learning environment, friendly people and a lot of exposure to huge client.

  • Just be yourself and focus on the KPMG values.
