I help and assist with providing engineering design and CAD work on a day-to-day basis.
I have learnt lots of new skills. Before I joined I had no clue how to use CAD. Since I have started Arup have assisted me and put me through lots of training courses to broaden my knowledge of the industry. Arup also assisted me greatly through my college year helping me get the best grades possible.
The team i work within are extremely nice and easy to get along with. Every single one of them have helped me throughout my apprenticeship and taught me lots of new things. The company provides lots of social and sporting activities which i participate in and really helps to network and meet new people within the company. I'm really enjoying my apprenticeship and i would recommend it to anyone who has an aspiration to become an engineer.
Very valued by everyone within the company. I feel that my absence would have an affect on my team as they rely on me to provide assistance with their work.
My programme is very well structured. Arup provide an external training provider to help me and make sure i get through my apprenticeship.
I receive quite a lot of support. Whenever i need help they are just a phone call away. Always seem to be there when i need it.
I receive an extremely lot of support from my employer. Whenever i have a problem they always do their best to make sure it is solved. They also provide a lot of support throughout my working week as if i'm stuck with any work they always help me out.
Very very well. One of the best paid apprenticeships i know about.
Lots of activities are available to do within the company. Like i said Arup offer a sports and social group. There is a different activity on every night!
