My job title is applications consultant. I work for applications development and visit client sites to help define requireents and build solutions.
Yes, I have learnt softskills such as public speaking, facilitating and teamworking. I have also expanded my technical capabilities.
I enjoy the fact there are other Degree apprentices on both the project and wider programme. We can support each other whilst balancing degree and project commitments
Very valued. All projects understand we have degree commitments and are very accommodating
It has improved in the past year or so. Now with the first intke finishing there last stage, I feel there has been minor improvement to the way it is ran
Aston university are supportive. Lectures are out of hours when we are not working on projects. Contact can be made either through email or going into the uni
We are offered study leave near exam and coursework deadlines. Also we have a GAP manager who is avalile if we need any advice or support
All training is provided free of charge, the amount of my free time I spend on work and training is reflected in my good salary
We have regular meet ups as under graduates. when we need to visti uni for exams and group work, it is also a social event and nice to see everyone
