My role consists of many different tasks and being a consultant apprenticeship it is always changing. We develop good microsoft office skills through the work on proposals and get a lot of exposure to both junior and very senior clients. I also complete my college work alongside my day to day work.
I have gained stronger presentation skills and overall people skills have improved. Along with my computer and microsoft office skills.
I really enjoy the programme and feel as though we arent treated any different to any other employee and that we are still given responsibility even though we are the least experienced.
I feel valued by my regional office however in such a large company this value can be lost nationally.
The programme is well structure but the model doesn't always work in the regions as the roles we have here are not the same as our London office however the programme is still run smoothly.
We experience monthly calls and attend college a number of days a year however this could be more I believe
We have a strong network around of us of people manager, buddy, line manager and our peers. Therefore the support is very large and can always find someone to help you when needed.
At the moment the salary I earn is more than I would expect for an apprenticeship however this one in particular I believe would be more challenging given the nature of the role.
Yes we have many social events and build up networks in our company which lead to other things as we are such a large company.
Yes
This is because so far my experience has been really positive and the people that work at PwC are all very inviting and supportive of everyone in the office. They don't see you as a number but a person and are a very understandable company to work for.
Try your best and prepare thoroughly for both your interview and assessment centre as a lot of people apply and you need to stand out and differentiate yourself.
