Your day to day task will vary greatly as it is a rotational programme. The roles are in audit, tax, advisory and tech.
In my tech role as a quality assurance analyst I have progressed to being able to look through code to test a website as well as being fluent is recording bugs and creating test cases to ensure everything has been tested
I really enjoy the team that I currently work in and enjoy having a cohort of apprentices that are my age around the firm.
I feel very valued by the specific team that I work in and am included in team socials so definitely feel as part of the team
I do think being a rotational programme offers a lot of challenges to find rotations etc and organisation is somewhat lacking. Personally I was lucky that my first placement is one that I can see a future in and this is included in the tech degree apprentice route which has been collaboratively structured by the management team and the tech department.
BPP has its own website and offers a plethora of resources to help you through your exams; included in this is carefully condensed flashcards that help solidify understanding
Within the team I work with I receive a lot of support and feel able and comfortable to ask anyone in my team questions.
Lunch allowance provided as well as an above average apprenticeship salary to counteract train fares
Theres a plethora of networking events and clubs to join and participate in that builds the kpmg community
