My role is to overview a Technician in the call centre and learn the in's and out's when helping customers over the phone. I work with around 3 colleagues daily covering Internet, Phone and general help.
I have learnt how to communicate using high level verbal methods of questioning to ensure that all problems are undertood. I have also gained great teamwork skills.
The culture and company as a whole has met my expectations and would happily pursue a career here after my programme.
I feel part of the Virgin Team however I do find feedback for possitive things is lacked from the higher ups.
The programme is ran perfectly and I have never had any issues with Travelling, support and Task delegation.
The training provider is good but could be improved rather than 'learning on the job' all the time. Extra verbal feedback would also help.
Support is there if needed but I find myself getting along just fine!
I'm only young and the amount I get paid is brilliant to kick styart me while I learn to drive and save up some extra money. Traveling to work is not a problem as only a 15min bike ride.
Yes, there are many team-building days and alongside working here I also get free access to all Virgin health gyms. The Virgin company name also carrys a strong reputation.
