Assistant tax advisor, company tax compliance, emails, filing, drafting correspondence, contacting HMRC and clients, client site visits, fee raising, general administration.
Yes, developing tax technical knowledge and understandoing, with some accounting knowledge on the side. Studying towards ACA with a view to doing CTA on completion
I extremely enjoy what I do. It is challenging and very rewarding, even when the hours are long. There is lot's of help at hand with all my tema more tha happy to help if I get stuck. Far surpassed my expectations
Internal feedback process and general feedback after projecvts gives you a good idea of where you are in your own development, although EY could do more to provide more frequent apraisals.
Very well structed, fixed study/exam periods allow me to organise the work I take on around this
Very much, but the training is so good I have needed little support to date.
More than enough support. With flexible working my employer is more than happy for me to do what I need to to ensure my developmet is a prioroity.
I would say it is fair given the location I live (being so close to London, the cost of living is quite expensive)
There are but none that I have pursued
Yes
I feel it is a great place to gain a world wide respected qualification and experience that you would not get in smaller firms. The opportunities here are fantastic and unlike anywhere I have worked before. The training is fantastic and the people are also very helpful and have great attitudes.
Display all you experiences no matter how breif as they will help paint a picture of you. Be honest in them also as an employer will see through you if you dont. Research the company and try to give an honest view of who you are as a person. Look carefully int which service line would suit you best, this is very important as they are all so different.
