I was on work experience. Everyday I would be paired with a different trainee solictor and have to complete tasks set by them. I would be put in a different area of law, and the trainees would set a range of tasks such as reading, powerpoints, organising.
I've learnt basic office skills. More knowlege in different legal sectors. And experience in a working situation
I did enjoy most aspects of the programme. The team at Pinsent Masons are very friendly and down to earth, making me feel more comfortable. And I felt my work was appreciated and useful
Very, I got recognition for my work by the team and was invited to attend extra conferences ect as I was a part of the preparation for it.
The programme was very structed, I was set a task to do each day at set times.
I was able to approach all of my trainees at any time if I needed extra support or wanted to talk.
I was introduced to the programme by the HR team however didn't see them since. I wasn't introduced to the manager. However, each day my trainee would introduce me to the people in the team including the partners.
Work experience so no pay.
Work experience so only here for the week.
Yes
I felt very welcome and was provided with a great experience and knowledge.
