It was a wide ranging role with numerous responsibilities giving me an overview of the day to day running of the business. I interacted and served numerous customers as well as seeing more behind the scenes operations. I did it all and enjoyed the variety of experience offered
It brought out a confidence in me; with the knowledge that i could work under pressure and cope with the complex situations which can be thrown at you on a day to day basis. I was offered more formal training in certain areas, some of which i accepted and some i felt i was already qualified in. An opinion the management shared.
I thoroughly enjoyed the program and work i was tasked with completing. It was made all the more enjoyable by the team and culture among the staff. They really were a great bunch, so friendly and helpful but not shy to push me for my own benefit.
I felt valued from my first day. I was embraced by the staff at my level and management did a brilliant job of helping me get to know everyone. Because i saw all areas of operations i saw how each role i was tasked with fell into place alongside others. I knew without my own imput systems would not run as smoothly.
The program is very well organised. The managers helped in introducing me to the teams i would be working alongside and checked in to ensure my smooth fitting in to the system. I had ample support when needed and supervision on all tasks to being with until i was comfortable to be left alone to work indepedantly.
I had the opportunity for regular contact and guidance if necessary and always felt there were options available if i needed them. Whether it be guidance or just a general word of encouragement, i never felt alone or cut off.
From every level support was forthcoming. Managers took an interest in my development as well as colleagues on a similar level to myself. More support than i needed was offered but it was a reassurance to know it was all there if necessary.
I was paid fairly and adequately for my service. I do not have many expenses at this moment in time. I also learned about the pay scales and opportunities to progress and earn more money as i would take on more responsibility.
I met many similar people and took part in numerous events arranged both by the company as a way to induct me into things and by the staff themselves more informally. Both types of events were a lot of fun
Yes
I enjoyed it all and felt i learned a lot about the world of work and my role in it. I hope to find work as supported and fulfilling in the future.
Go for it, you have it all to gain and nothing to lose. Be confident in yourself and your interview techniquw, and reassured if you get it you will have all the support you could possibly need to make a success of yourself.
