Software Engineer Lead. I am a technical retail consultant working with numerous clients such as M&S, Mothercare and Kingfisher implementing complex planning solutions
I have gain certification in JDA for both Space Planning and Enterprise Planning for retail companies. I also have completed level 4 city and guild qualification and am currently going my degree at Aston university.
I enjoy the programme and the responsibility that i am given within my team and the progress i have made within the organisation
I feel very values by the company and the team as i am now leading developments projects and advising on design ideas
It is reasonably well organised however the Uni at aston are not very organised - results take a long time to get returned. The internal team are ok however are very slow at sending out details dont keep us in the loop
The training at the university is average and depends on the lectures as to whether the module is good or not as some are excellent and some are very poor
I receive plenty of support from my team and mentors and feel that i am given everything i need to succeed
My salary increases nicely and covers my cost adequately allowing me a good quality of life.
We always go on team building events around the uk and europe. so we get plenty of opportunities
