I am front of house team member. My mainly tasks is waiting a tables and making sure that customers are happy and we met them expectations. Also I am working at the bar as a bartender so I am responsible for drinks preparations.
Yes, I learnt a lot. I develop my customers service skills on the higher level. Also, I learnt how to pour the drinks (soft drinks/spirits/beers/wines). Thanks this curse I passed exams for Maths functional skills level 2 and English functional skills level 1 (as English is my second language).
I enjoyed my programme a lot. Programme met my expectations at 100%. Thanks to that I am a better team player and I each day I am meet better customers expectations.
I am feel like a lot more valued employer. After a programme I have been involved, by my manager, in more responsible tasks and I had opportunity to start another programme and being promote.
I can say that my programme was organised very well. Was provided training, support from my mentor, learning sessions and much more. I could always get in touch with my trainee if I got any issues.
I received a lot of support from my trainee. He got a lot of patient, when I was coming to him with questions or issues, that I couldn't understand. After each session he provided me a feedback and some good advice.
My manager was supporting me a lot. Always taking care of me if I was struggle with something. She was checking my progress and also she was giving me a lot of feedback what was very valued in my course progress.
I am living near the restaurant, where I am working. I get a well paid for the hours I am working, so I never was struggling with my living costs. And as a Greene King employee I received 33% on my food and drinks in the Greene King pubs.
Each year, We are organising a fun-day at our restaurant and we are raising a money for the hospitals/ schools. That is always a big event in our local community. Also we got a leisure club where I like to go in my day off to relax.

Greene King is a very friendly company, who take care of their employees. Always, you can find someone who will help you with your issues. In the pub, where I am working we treat each other like a family and everyone are taking care of each others.
Be confident and believe that the dreams come true one day. Greene King is offering amazing opportunities for develop your skills. You only need to know what you would like to get in your work career. Don't be scare when you going to interview. We are all humans and each person was on your place in the past.
