  • Through the apprenticeship it has allowed me to look into banking in a lot more detail, for example if a customers account is declined I now understand the process and decision making the bank takes when looking at these applications, therefore allowing me to explain this to the customer and how they can maybe look at improving the situation to not have this problem in the future.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Santander?
  • I have worked for different teams within Santander, all include a telephone interview which is just a few basic questions normally about customer service and if successful from there will either include a face to face interview or an assessment day, all you can do is be yourself but I also looked online for what people had put about the questions they may ask and found these really useful
