I'm a waitress for hungry horse do serving customers both at the bar and with food. Dealing with mistakes, complaints and bookings are included too
I'm more confident than I was before, have more customer service skills and have a wider range of knowledge on techniques for serving food and drinks
I absolutely love it, I've learnt so much
They're ok to work for but I feel that the pressure staff are put under to perform too many tasks so that managers can stick to budgets so they may be a good company to work for but they do have their downsides too
Very well organised, I always know what's happening and what is required
As much as I need and if I need more then she is always at the end of the phone
A lot, the manager does his best to help all the staff and provide advice and support where needed
Not applicable, I bike to work so this doesn't apply to me
I don't know as I haven't wanted to look elsewhere for work
Yes
Hungry horse is a brilliant pub and environment to work in with plenty of opportunities to make new friends and form relationships with regular customers who become part of your family
Be prepared to stress! It's not always an easy job, it's brilliant and it's enjoyable but it can be an extremely stressful environment
