Begin as an entry level associate (same level as graduate joiners) and work on various clients for their annual audit of the financial accounts to ensure that they are a reasonable representation. This is completed by performing a wide range of tests.
As part of the placements i accrue time for my professional qualification after I graduate and complete 12 of the 15 exams required for this. I also learnt to improve my social skills and how to adapt to a wide variety of environments and clients.
The teams you work with are always good and supportive which increases the enjoyability of the placement. The actual work can be boring at times but is interesting for the most part when dealing with the more complex areas.
They try to support you as best as they can in all areas to ensure that you are coping well during work and that you are not getting over stressed with anything so i feel they support you as best they are able to.
The programme is structured very well and has been running for over a decade now so it has been refined over the years so the structure is the most beneficial to the students.
There is constant support from team members whilst on placement to ensure that you are coping with the work and completing it to the required level, all employees are happy to help with any questions.
As above, team members will support you in all areas that you may have issues with and will do the best they can to explain the situation to you until you understand it and can complete the task.
The pay is reasonable for the age we are and is a nice boost for affording the time that is spent at university whilst you are not on placement.
They offer a range of opportunities that expand outside of work which are all easily accessible to all employees.
Yes
They offer a good support system and there is a lot of opportunity to progress your career with them & they set you up with a solid foundation if you choose to leave.
Must be willing to work hard to get the job done and throw yourself in to it to learn as much as you can and get the most out of it as possible.
