My role was to work with my uncle and observe the routine of the office. I also filled out a booklet given to me by my school on a daily basis. I often spoke to team members in the work place and found out about their role etc. this was very interesting and beneficial.
Personally I feel as I have developed and made new skills through speaking to different people and getting to see how an office job works, like the routine and how everyone has different roles and responsibilities. therefore i believe this helped me to develop my communication skills with other people etc.
I enjoyed the programme very much. It was better than being at school as when i was on work experience i could work as a team with other people and meet new people whereas at school it was the same classes with the same people etc.
i feel like i was valued by HSBC as everyone in the work place was very friendly and helped me whenever i needed help. i also received some gifts from people there. my time spent there was also recognised outside of the work place as everyone seemed to think i enjoyed the experience etc.
my programme was organised and structured to a good extent, my routine had set times to arrive at the workplace, the times of my breaks and what time i finished. i was given a variety of different tasks to do and different people to work with.
overall my training provider was good and helped me with any problems i had encountered. they also left me to try and stuff myself instead of them doing everything for me etc. i also thought it was helpful as i enjoyed the experience of working there.
i received a good amount of support while working there and was shown how to d certain tasks etc if i did not understand how to complete them. i also received support from the HR team as they helped to reschedule my working hours, when i needed to alter them or change them.
well working there i felt my salary/package was very good, i was able to afford things and goods that i wanted to buy and was able to provide for myself. Travelling there was free as i got a lift from one of my team members which was highly beneficial in helping me save money. I also lived not too far from the work place which ment it was easy to get there etc.
there are many oppurtunieties. such as team building days there is also local community days which helps to show the community that the workplace and employer cares about the community and environment by finding more ecological ways to fo things etc.
Yes
As overall i thoroughly enjoyed the experience
