I am in my first year of the apprenticeship scheme. I am training to become a store assistant and my job role consists of stock rotation, working deliveries and working on the till.
I have developed many skills both on and off the till. I am currently studying the intermediate apprenticeship level 2 in retail. I have developed my customer service skills, communication skills with staff and customers and enhanced my confidence.
I am enjoying this apprenticeship very much as i have a hard working and friendly team which are always willing to help you. The managers are very supportive.
The managers are friendly and supportive are always there to motivate you. I feel valued by the whole team. As a recognition for our hardwork we went on a staff day out to hollywood bowl. I've also received the Aldi star of the month for march 2014 for my efforts.
It is a well structured programme which includes training, support and studying. Aldi organised a whole day induction for all apprentices and the tutor from the college visits us regularly to observe our work and support us.
The tutor is very friendly and supportive and if you have any issues you can contact her for advice.
The whole team at Aldi is very friendly and supportive. I have had no issues however i know how to get advice and support from my employer if required.
I have no travel costs as Aldi is local to were i live. The salary is good and i can meet my living costs.
Yes i have been on christmas parties and team days out.
Yes
The management and staff are friendly and very supportive.
I would advise others to research the company before hand and be prepared for interviews, trials and assessment days.
