  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I greatly enjoy my programme as i am working in a very professional environment in an extremely large company surrounded by a great group of people. My college days i ennjoy alot too simply because i get to interact with young individuals like myself and ultimately gaining valuable skills that i can use in any job role in my future. The only thing that i do not like about the programme is the fact that there is not a guaranteed job at the end of the apprenticeship, although you should never expect to be given guaranteed job.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Bloomberg?
  • extremely valued, Bloomberg's culture and the way that they operate makes everyone feel very coherent. No one feels like they can't have a say or a voice to be heard. Furthermore to be more specific in my job role i do the exact same job as every employ in my department and i am expected to meet the same standards as others, giving me the meaning of being valued.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is structured very well, Step forward to a great job. The introduction to the programme was excellent, they gathered all associates to go for a residential trip to get everyone to know each other so when it came to coming in for college everyone already knew one another. The training and support is great, all staff are extremely friendly. The only thing that might not be so well structured is the communication between associates and tutors (not so much through personal experience but from a lot of my fellow colleagues have told me).

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • A lot of support, i haven't requested or needed a lot of support myself however i know some of my colleagues have struggled in terms of work and or their work placement and i have seen first hand the great support that is provided. I have enjoyed it very much and would highly recommend the programme to anyone.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer focuses more on developing my skills and profile in the work place more so than my school work. Which in my mind i prefer as i am extremely dedicated to find a permanent placement in Bloomberg and the best way for me to do this is to develop my network here at the company and to focus on my growth here.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • the salary is completely fine as i don't have to pay rent, living costs other than travel and regular expenses like going out on the weekend or to go shopping. However the food costs and travel costs in London are really high and in my opinion would be more satisfying and would help cover external costs other than ravel and living expenses.
