By doing placements in many places in the IT department, I gained a broad knowledge of IT, from various different angles and view points.
I've developed many IT skills within IT support and have been on a number of recognised courses, while improving my confidence throughout the apprenticeship.
I enjoyed the programme very much, developed my knowledge, improved my confidence, made a number of friends and the programme as a whole, exceeded my expectations.
The company has always made me feel like a valued member of each team I have been in, I have been involved in multiple projects and tasks and felt valued in each. My managers have always been both supportive and encouraging and I thoroughly enjoy working here.
Very well organised and structured. The college always had a structured plan for us to follow and the company always supported any work we had to do.
The training provider was supportive and encouraging and their attitude was always to help us achieve more, ahead of schedule at some points. The tutors always offered guidance and any help we needed.
My employer as a whole is very supportive of apprenticeships and we were given a mentor and I received support from each team I have been in.
My salary meets my costs at the moment as I am still living at home, and even if I wasn't, it would still be suffice. I am very happy with my salary at the moment, taking into account the training costs the company must have incurred, it is very fair.
Apprentices within the company are regularly encouraged to take part in local community events and initiatives. The company additionally own their own charity and apprentices regularly take part in their events. We additionally help with career fairs to speak to School children about apprenticeships and the benefits we have received.
Yes
I have recommended to one of my friends already, and she works here too now and equally enjoys it, like me. The company is supportive and encouraging.
Prepare for the interview, gain feedback on your application to check for small mistakes and take every opportunity as it is a great company to work for.
