Varies depending on placement however they all revolve around maintaining and improving the Transport for London Road Network and any assets on it.
I have been able to put into practice my communication skills every day but the major improvement is being given responsibility which I have really enjoyed.
I have been really lucky with my placements and the people in my teams.
Numerous people around me for support eg. Sponsor, Supervisor, Placement Manager, Mentor etc.
Only minor things out of control have affected the flow.
NVQ Assessor - Exceptional College - Left to it on your own a lot more.

Balances very well
Site visits out of core hours. Also had several team outings.

My experiences have really benefitted me. Doing this apprenticeship was the best choice I have made in my life so far.
People are genuinely there to support you so don't feel uncomfortable about asking questions.
