  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My job title is a 360 Apprentice and depending on what department depends on what type of work I do, but mainly I get involved wit the day to day tasks and I definitely don't just make cups of tea. I do valuable work that relates to real client work - some of it being very important work.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I am studying towards my AAT qualifications and will then go onto charted. There are various internal KPMG training courses on offer in a range of different things. Professionally, my skills have developed massively in my first six months and I have learnt a huge amount.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the programme. Obviously everyone has the odd rubbish day, but overall I really like the range of work I get to do and the fact that it is proper work and I'm not just given all the rubbishy admin side of things.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by KPMG?
  • I feel really valued in the team I am currently in as me being here has helped with their work load a lot, as there is lots I can get involved in and obviously that reduces other peoples amounts of work.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is fairly organised and has a pretty strong structure. Obviously it is fairly new so I'm sure there will be downsides that arise but due to a strong leadership team, I'm sure they will be able to deal with anything that crops up.
