Job title - Apprentice Daily tasks - Varies from role to role as we rotate. My current daily tasks include writing TP reports, setting up risk procedures for new clients and sending out engagement letters. Daily interactions internally - At KPMG we get opportunities to interact with senior people on a regular basis. Responsibilities - I am responsible for my own time and workload management as well as coaching more junior members of the team where appropriate.
I have learnt both technical and softer skills through a variety of training courses.
I love the culture, KPMG has a unique culture of making you feel like they care about you as an individual. Teams have all been great too, happy to help and friendly.
It varies, but the culture is one where they put value in their people, so the majority of the time very valued.
We were the first year of the programme so inevitably there was a bit of learning about what worked and what didn't as we went along. However, generally it's well organised and structured.
As much as I need - we have tutors we can e-mail with any questions and we have regular progress update calls.

I lived in rented accommodation in London from the beginning of the programme. On first year salary it's difficult, but once you get to second year it's manageable.
Plenty of volunteering and training opportunities. Lots of social aspect.
Yes
You get exposure to big clients, it's a fun place to work and most of all they care about their people.
STAR technique for competency based questions - that's the most useful tip I got.
