  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role as an Account Manager at Softcat is to build relationships with prospect customers and with existing customers. Building these relationships is one of my biggest daily tasks it's done in many different ways, over the phone, email, post, social media and a few others. Being an Account Manager I am here to inform customers on how we can help them not only with their IT and how they procure it but how we can help them grow and move forward as a business. This can be done by aligning various resource to them, informing them of any new technologies, vendors etc.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy every aspect of my role! I enjoy coming to work because of the people I work with and the customers I speak to. I am on a great team who are very supportive and easy to get along with. That also goes for the whole company everyone is really easy to get along with, if you ever need any help or support they'll be there. When it comes to culture, no one does it like Softcat! Everyone works very hard, it's fun, enthusiastic, it's everything that you want a workplace to be. In terms of meeting my expectations, in some areas I lacked a little but some other areas I exceeded the expectations. I have enjoyed so much and will continue to enjoy it until the day I leave.
