I shadowed a journalist during reports in Calendar. This was in a bigger team.
I learned first hand experience of a professional environment.
It was enjoyable, the experience was fairly social and it was dynamic.
All workers were relatively friendly, everyone was happy to help.
There were times where I was not doing a lot but generally it was structured. There were several stages such as a brief induction where I was familiarised with the setting.
My supervisor was useful and friendly, there were no problems during my time with the company.
I was able to meet managerial staff at a point, they briefly shared advise.
I was not paid for my time, this was agreed prior.
I was not at the company for long enough to access these benefits.
Yes
It was an enjoyable experience.
I would go in with an open mind, and watch the programming of the department that you are working for so that you are familiarised with the way that they operate.
