As a KPMG 360 apprentice, I get to rotate around different functions of the business. Currently, I am in my third placement which is Public Sector Audit. I have been in KPMG McLaren Alliance and Forensic Technology.
My communication and excel skills have significantly improved, especially because of the trainings KPMG learning portal offers.
I enjoy the rotational aspect of this programme very much. None of the other big four companies offer this opportunities to school leavers.
Receiving positive feedback from my placement teams I feel very appreciated and valued. One of the other thing I feel really valued by is when I get to work on challenging projects, which shows that my team trusts me to work to the best of my ability.
This programme is well structured, but I believe that by improving a few things within the programme, can be a whole lot better. For example, having a standard new starter pack when we go into new placements with FAQ's on them can be immensely helpful.
N/A I have already done my level 3 AAT qualification. due to this I am not currently studying.
I am happy with the level of support I receive from the management team of 360 and my placement managers. I feel like I'll always have someone to go to if I ever have a problem.
I believe that we get paid well compare to other companies who offer apprenticeships. I think we do get a good package with a lot of other benefits.
Yes, there are many opportunities outside of work such as networking groups, societies and volunteering opportunities. I really like that we get 6 days for just volunteering.
Yes
KPMG is very a people orientated business. They really care about individuals development and support them through it. Also, KPMG can offer something for everyone.
