My day to day role involves making sure my projects are on track and attending meeting with different departments to discuss projects and improvements. Moreover, every day is a new day in this role which makes it even more exciting!
I learnt so many new skills since the start of my apprenticeship 6 months ago, such as, team work, communication, project management skills etc. Moreover, my confidence has improved massively and now I can deliver training sessions to a large group without panicking.
The whole apprenticeship programme has been a great journey for me so far. I learnt so many things, visited other GSK sites and had the opportunity to work with so many people, from operators to directors.
At GSK, apprentices are treated the same way as employees, even better sometimes. At GSK, there are endless opportunities and progression routes to help us go further up the career ladder.
The apprenticeship programme is well structured with even balance of training/ study and work. I have a mentor on site to support me, as well as my team.
My training provider offers me excellent guidance and support with problems. Moreover, help me to develop further and get the best marks.
My line manager supports me tremendously. He is always there when I need help with any issues/ problems, challenges me and makes sure I am learning and enjoying at the same time. We also have bi-weekly review sessions.
Pretty good.
