As a project planner apprentice, the scheme consists of 4 six month placements which vary in style, workload and the type of work carried out. My current placement involves me carry out maintain and scheduling on various projects Carrie out.
I have learnt many new skills and have gained a great deal of knowledge not only through placements, but also through internal, external and diploma training.
I very much enjoy my programme and couldn't be happier with what I have achieved from it.
I feel valued as apprentices play a big part in the company past and present.
Placements in terms of objectives could be more structured, however I am proactive.
Lots of support by phone, email and face to face.
Lots of support when ever required, any issues are resolved easily and quickly.
Salary is competitive for London
Not sure I have looked into this in detail but I assume so.
Yes
I have had a great time on my apprenticeship and have gained skills and knowledge whilst being paid. university is not for everyone.
If you are proactive, keen and willing to work hard there is no reason why you can't excel in TFL.
