processing of invoices and paying suppliers for jobs they have done. Will move more in to a marketing role within the next 3-4 months which will involve working more closely with agencies.
yes learnt how to use online systems such as ariba and BAPS which has been useful. I have also been able to improve my excel skills whilst working here
at the moment I feel my programme is very admin based but this should start to improve soon and I should be given more interesting work to do and the work wont be as repetitive as it is currently.
Unilever value their employees very highly and you are treated well within the work place which is good
there is a good structure to my programme which has been set up for me by Unilever and I hope that I am able to stick to this and allowed to experience different roles whilst I am in the business
the support is very limited at the moment and is wasn't very clear about how the course was going to be run so overall the support from the training provider which is BPP hasn't been great
Unilever give me a lot of support and there are people in the office that I can always go to if I need any help, sometimes I have to ask people to explain things more than once as I don't understand them first time.
the salary is good and competitive, overall I don't have a lot of costs to pay and therefore the salary is more than sufficient to cover my costs.
yes there has been quite a few since I joined and there is currently a big drive to try and get apprentices to socialise more outside of work.
Yes
Unilever is a great company to work for the only thing I would mention is that you do have to spend a lot of time at a desk so just make sure that this is something which you are happy to do.
just be yourself and be confident when you are applying. don't make things up and just be honest, Unilever look for people who want a career in the industry so make this a key selling point when applying
