I work as an Analyst at RBS and my role involves supporting my Line Manager with their portfolio. Daily tasks can be solving client queries via email/phone, preparing meeting briefs and liaising with other teams teams across RBS to open and close accounts.
In my first 6 months with the bank, I feel that my confidence has grown as I have interacted with various people across the bank and also with clients on a regular basis. My team, my manager and the work that I do have helped me gain a better understanding of the banking sector. RBS truly believe in investing in their people so there are courses and support available for anyone willing to learn and develop their skills. There are also quite a few networking events within RBS. I have enrolled onto to a few courses (credits skills and pm analytics). These courses will help me in my job role as I will have a better understanding of our customers' business so we can ultimately offer the right products and solutions to them.
I enjoy working at RBS and feel valued in my team. My team have been very supportive and have provided me with various opportunities to grow and learn within my role.
I feel very valued at RBS. My team were very welcoming on my first day and I have always felt supported ever since I have joined the bank. My Manager has been very helpful and we have a meeting session regularly to discuss my progress. I feel that my manager is very appreciative of the work I complete - always gives me feedback on the work that I have done well and any areas that I could improve. I am also praised by other team members for work on projects etc. I am getting more reguarly involved now with different tasks and projects as time goes on and I become more experienced which is helping me feel more & more valued.
