Friendly company culture Flexible working Challenging work Numerous social events Attend a number of meetings and therefore gain exposure to clients Opportunity to work from the London office
The work that I am given always makes me feel as though I am adding value to the projects that I am involved in and consequently I have won a number of 'values awards' which have been motivating. I do not feel as though the work I am given is considerably less challenging than the work given to Graduates and therefore do not feel discriminated against because I am a School Leaver - however this is not reflected in pay package.
Have had to chase Kaplan and EY ACA team to release the pre-coursework with enough time to complete it before going into college. EY ACA / CTA team generally not very organised.
Always offer help outside of college.
Plenty - always encouraged to ask questions when I am unsure and continually receive timely feedback.
As I am still living at home and do not have significant monthly outgoings, my salary does meet my costs. However, having looked at flats in central Birmingham and around the area that I currently live in, my salary package would not be enough to allow me to get an appropriate mortgage.
Volunteering Sports - football, netball Social events Flexible working is encouraged so that I am able to continue to play sports outside of work
Yes
Plenty of opportunities to move within the firm and be involved in a number of non-technical projects.
Consider the service line that you are applying for - I did not have much advice on this and chose a service line that I didn't enjoy. I have been fortunate enough to move permanently to a new department, however I would advise anyone applying to seriously think about this.
