I started off as an apprentice resource. This gave me the opportunity to work whilst i learnt all about the recruitment industry. As a resourcer my job role is to speak to candidates, verify candidates, interview, arrange interviews and offers to candidates. I also have the opportunity to visit clients engage with them and have a better understanding of the company i was recruiting for.
I have had the opportunity to get my NVQ level 2 in recruitment and i am now looking to do my level 3. The apprenticeship has provided me with what i need to know in recruitment and has been a really good learning ground. It has opened doors to different opportunities within the business and different avenues for me to explore.
I really enjoy the apprenticeship programme, it is a really good learning ground.I am surrounded by supportive teams and managers. The organisation have a good rising star programme in place which is a development plan for you to grow and develop within the business. It guides you on how to progress within the business and how you go about doing it. Really well structured and organised.
I feel extremely valued by BPS. I have been recognised internally for Employee of the month and already have explored different routes i could take within the organisation.
I think the programme is structured well. It gives you a clear indication of what you should achieve, the expectations and how you go about hitting those objectives. In order for you to progress. They also have a lot of internal training sessions to help develop you.
I had alot of support from the training provider. I was able to get guidance and support from them if and when i needed.
BPS are extremely supportive and i have a good team manager and lead who has supported me the whole way through.
Salary is broke even really, i always look to gain more experience and I am always looking for opportunities to progress internally.
There are opportunities outside of work.I really enjoy working at BPS and this is a place i would like to build a career from.
Yes
Compared to other organisations, BPS have an amazing culture. A culture that is very much people first and provides you with an amazing learning ground that you can take anywhere. They have the right structure in place in order for you to grow and develop and the rewards are there for when you do!
BPS, have a good interview structure in place. They have assessment days in place. You are provided with information of what to prepare for your interview and assessment. In the assessment day it also gives you the opportunity to meet some of the organisation so you get a feel for the business. The organisation is growing so there are plenty of opportunities internally.
