I feel valued by my department and team, I am given huge amounts of responsibility including managing a member of staff and being assigned a project management role for a molecule. However there are very few landing roles for apprentices, which gives the perception that you are not valued, and are instead temporary cheap labour.
The program is generally very well structured and organised on GSK's side, however the Early Talent team are poorly organised with a very high turn over of staff which can cause instability. The University of Kent who provide the degree are extremely unorganised, which arrived at a summer school which had been planned for months and the staff had been told it was for a chemistry course not biology, and that they would only have a few students and there was around 50 of us.

Ensure you focus on hobbies and extra curricula activities, it is not all based on grades.
