Working on bids and propsals for PwC
Yes, I have learnt many technical skills and built up a large network
I enjoy the programme as a whole. I think it's a great alternative option to Uni, but it can be extremely demanding, especially during exam season.
Quite valued. I think this depends on the team.
It is well organised in the fact we have all of our rotations lined up, however we do not know when we will be graduating off of the programme, meaning the programme could be 3 months longer than originally anticipated. I think it would also be good to offer more freedom when choosing rotations as we are very limited to internal roles which offer very little client experience.
Attending college, and calls when necessary. I have never needed support outside of this, but I am sure if I needed it, it would be there.
I have a great people manager who I would go to with any issues. However when she is not in, I am limited on who I can contact with support, as my line manager is quite busy.
It would not be possible to take on this apprenticeship without financial support from my parents. The pay is not enough to live in London and pay rent at the same time.
Yes, I have been very involved with extra curricular activities- a great way of meeting other people and networking through the firm.
Yes
Overall I think it's a great company, the people are nice, and the opportunities are great.
Get involved with extracurricular activities, as you would be surprised how much your network builds from them. Also, don't be afraid to ask for support when you need it- it will always be available in PwC.
