I am a PMO Analyst and team leader. Mt role is to support the project manager and manage the financials of the project. I work to a month end calendar which has tight deadlines. All month we work towards doing the month end reporting which goes to the customer and is reported up to management.
Aswell as the degree, i have been on training cources and am a certified PPSO. The degree is helping me apply some thinking around my job role. I was already an employee for 4 years before starting the apprenticship so i learned my job role through 'on the job' experience
I enjoy working at capgemini. It can be challenging at times to manage my workload between a full time job and a degree but i get study leave.
I feel extremely valued by my team. it has a great culture and they recognise people well.
I started the course after already being an employee so my introduction was slightly different but is still well structured. The course is managed well and very organised. I have a reviewer at work who i can go to with any issues and we have regular 1 to 1s
I recieve great support from the university. I have a good relationship with my tutor and can access all content online.
I find it hard to fit study in at work and around work. I dont get much support in the workplace. I'm not sure people are aware that I am doing the degree apart from my reviewer. My job role is so busy that i dont really get time to fit study in at work.
I am happy with my salary and think it reflects well with mny job.
There are plenty of school visits i can attend to help promote capgemini. and we have volunteer days we can use to volunteer in the community,
Yes
It pays well and they are a good company to work for
There are lots of interviews and assments to go through and the onboarding can take some time but it will be worth it in the long run.
