  • mechanical maintenance technician, fault finding, repairs, overhaul of pump/ valves any equipment deemed mechanical discipline, ensuring work carried out to the highest standard to ensure safe and reliable operation of equipment. on going projects to in areas where improvements can be made to aid in a safer working environment.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • everything from how the systems work to how equipment should operate in relation to other equipment and its purpose to aid in the understanding when working on plant, overhauling and installing of unique equipment to the industry.

  • the apprenticeship along with experience and knowledge gained have far exceeded my fist expectations. thoroughly enjoyed the full process from training away from home to being part of a team on station.

  • the program has proven to be well organised and structured throughout with clear guidelines and expectations set out form the start.

  • more than adequate support available with the appropriate people being more than helpful with regards to any support requirements

  • extremely well supported throughout the apprenticeship by technicians, and team leaders/ managment

  • many events available for apprentices to be involved in throughout the 4 years and after

  • from my own experiences, great training, great people to work with among the maintenance teams and throughout the company

  • thoroughly research company, history and future ambitions
