Currently part of the Technology Recruitment Team and my main day-to-day activities would include: - Posting Job Ads on UK Job Boards, LinkedIn and European Job Boards - Sourcing and calling candidates - Send candidates forward for suitable vacancies
My communication skills have grown massively since joining BPS World. By being in continuous contact with candidates and clients, it has given me more confidence in what I am saying and doing.
The great company work environment really helps whilst trying to complete my Apprenticeship as there is an endless amount of people that are willing to help out if you are stuck.
I feel very valued at BPS World as there is ongoing support from Management and Team Leaders. We are constantly being recognised for the GOOD things we are doing and being recommended to take on International Tasks such as visiting abroad offices.
It is very well structured. It is very easy to see where you are and how you can get to where you want to be. There is help for apprentices from both colleagues and learning providers, so you are always going to be on the right path.
I received everything that I needed to pass and attain my Level 2 qualification. This support has driven me on to want to complete a Level 3 in Recruitment course.
Ongoing support from our Learning & Development team in BPS. This could be from "Dealing with Counter-Offers" through to "setting out your day more effectively". These are constant courses and it continues to help us improve.
I live quite far from the office (whether i'm driving or getting the train) and the petrol costs do start to add up... The starting salary isn't fantastic on an apprenticeship and it does take some time to start feeling comfortable.
We have company wide events, but they are not as common as we would like and they are not as rewarding. We do have footie on Thursday evening and often have small team catch-ups though, so it all balances out.
Yes
It has really worked out for me and I have enjoyed it all the way.
Be passionate in what you enjoy doing and show how you could be an asset to a company. Be willing to learn and show an interest in something new.
