Work experience was working as a store apprentice within one of the aldi stores in which i have to perform daily tasks such as till work, stock rotation, working deliveries, checking deliveries date checking and also providing good customer service all of the time.
I have learnt how to communicate much better with people and also have gained confidence in meeting new people.
I am really enjoying my programme i feel that it is the perfect job and opportinity for me to progress and do well within the company. I enjoy working as part of a team. Working at aldi has extremely exceeded my expectations and i would reccommend the aldi apprenticeship scheme to anyone who is looking to establish themselves a career within a fast paced hard working environement.
I feel extremely valued at aldi i get on with every member of staff and i feel motivated by the management to strive and work hard for the company. I have just been awarded employee of the month for my hard work and consistency.
My programme is very well organised in fact it has been more organised than i thought it was going to be . It is a three year programme in which i can progress into management iun the 2nd and 3rd year. I know every step i have to take within the apprenticeship and regular meetings with my assessor also take place every few weeks.
I recieve a lot of support from my provider and they are always eager to know how i am doing and gives a helping hand in whatever it is i need.
I recieve lots of support from my employer too the managementt oif the company and the area managerment of the company all offer me support and guidance and apprehend me of my work.
To be truthly my salary is a very good salary for an apprenticeship as it is nearly double the legal apprenticheshio salary for 16-21 year olds. However with myself being 20 years of age i am struggling to cope with the amount of money i am earning and the outgoing money it doesnt leave me with much pocket money. But on the aldi apprenticeship scheme your salary increases each year your on the apprentichehsip so when my next year starts i would be much more able to cope with the demands i am struggling to meet at this moment in time so all in all it is very good.

Aldi is a growing company which is improving all the time which allows you to improve and prgress within the company. I love working for aldi and im sure everybody at aldi feels the same, it is a very good place to work. Every member of staff makes you feel comfortable and you settle straight in as soon as you start.
keep applying to every job opportunity available and also make sure that you are eager to strive and work hard for a company which is growing bigger and bigger. Also mke sure you take an interest in aldi history and the growth in which has taken place already.
