Working at Cisco was a very pleasant experience. It was a challenging put exciting position. I enjoyed being part of a robust organisation which has many different things to offer to their employees. Working in the project management gave me a real feel of what I would like to do in the future. The team really supported me and it was a great experience to give me better direction of what I would like to do in the future.
I have developed a range of skills. This includes communication, team working skills. Being able to adapt to challenging circumstances and being able to work using my own initiative. Many life skills learnt which I am looking forward to implement.
Enjoyed every moment of it!
I felt very valued. Considering I was very young and new it was a bit daunting. But people made me feel welcome.
The programme was well structured. I knew what was required of me each day. This helped me avoid any boredom and keep me active and interested.
The training was good, it provided me with the protocols to help me in my daily duties. If I had any questions they were answered very thoroughly. Was never hesitant to ask any questions.
Support from staff and manager was good. They encouraged me to ask questions which I may not have understood. So the support was good.
I did a voluntary programme so was not paid. It was a unpaid experience.
I did not look into any opportunities outside the work place at the time.
Yes
It is a very massive company with constant opportunities. Felt welcomed and supported,
Be proactive and look at reviews online for the position you apply for. Even speak to the employer before applying if you're interested in a particular role.
