Well to start off with it was a very exciting and fun thing yo do with my school it made me feel independent and free to do what I want, I worked in a Waitrose store in London and the staff were very welcoming and helped all the time with my tasks if i needed it, for example the lifting work , if there were very heavy objects i was not allowed to lift due to health and safety reasons they would assist me no matter what, on my last day of work experience i was given a box of chocolates from the manager as a thank you for my help and to say well done , it made me feel much mire confident and happy with my work.
I learned many things during my time there as communication skills which are key to life, also I developed my confidence as before i started i had a very low confidence level and was very shy when meeting new people especially the managers
I enjoyed it alot beacuse it was a break from normal maths and english work and it was letting me still learn on the job although im not sitting at a desk writing.it also made me meet a large variety of people including staff and the customers and it was very rewarding when you had facilitated their needs.
I feel extemly valued because all the staff help me when i need it and we work together as a team ALWAYS ni matter what the circumstances are also the tasks arw very flexible and enjoyable to carry out especially when you have a friend with you to make work more fun.
It was very well structured u was given all my timetable and uniform on the first day and was told that im ready to get out there and help the staff and customers that need it, it had loads if structures as it changes every week but thats the vest thing to mix work and hours up a bit or it'll gets a bit boring.
You received very minimal support on the training because they wanted me to get to learn and understand myself what it was all about and how things work atound the workplace as it was new territory to me.
Lots if support they always guve you positive feedback after completing a task so it makes you feel good about yourself and helps you to gain even more confidence in the work that i do.
It was a voluntary job but all the staff said the minimum wage no matter what age is high no matter what age group you were in also it makes you feel more valued if you get more money at a younger age, so it makes you work more
Not that i know if at the moment i havent been given any information as of yet but i will definitely consider trying ro find out

To not hesitate and go for this job as they do not come very often and if you want a great paycheque every month then i suggest that you go onto their website now and apply, personally i thing its a very special opportunity to be given if you get the chance.
