My role throughout the week was to check over client paperwork making sure there are no errors in wording and calculations. I also had to present an idea for a futuristic phone in a Dragons Den scenario.
I have developed and learnt many skills during this weeks work experience at EY. I have developed largely on my confidence and presentational skills. I have also learnt the do's and dont's within a business setting. These skills were built upon due to tasks that were undertaken, as well as the virtual learning sessions we had everyday.
I thoroughly enjoyed my week at EY. The team were very friendly in the Luton office and made the week much more enjoyable. There was always a challenge at hand which made the whole experience much more memorable.
I feel very valued at EY and was treated like an employee throughout the week.
The programme is very organised and structured. There was always a new task to take part in. I thoroughly enjoyed the Dragons' Den day and I thought it was well planned out.
I received a lot of support from my training provider. He was very friendly and was happy to help whenever needed.
I receieved a lot of support from the employer, whenever I needed any.
I feel the salary was an added bonus as I was not originally expecting to get paid for the week. The salary was used to book a hotel nearby Luton as I lived far away from the EY Luton office.
I feel like EY offer many opportunities, especially travel, to employees. The working environment also seems very flexible.
