-My job title is audit assistant. -My daily taks often involve being out on site at clients and working with a team from BDO at varying levels to complete particular projects -Bookings are marked on a jobs board. There are times when jobs are in the office, at which point I have very much intereaction with internal staff. When out on site, you only tend to have interaction with other BDO members who are working on the client. -You are constantly talking to clients on the phone, emails etc
-I have completed 6 exams under the CFAB scheme so far -There are internal training courses each year for excel skills, particular job skills such as gaming client techniques and risk areas, auditing refresher courses etc
-I think the scheme that I am on is excellent -The company culture is quite youthful which was surprising and is set up to really enhance your opportunities and skills
-Recognition is always given for large jobs and those which require a great deal of effort -However, the standard of work in my job is quite high and therefore, you have to work really hard to get this recognition -I have been involved in a number of tasks where the work I have performed has been recognised with intstant awards etc
-Training is well organised on my scheme -However, after the two year CFAB programme, it appears to be quite unorganised about to what our grading is, what role we should take on and any pay boundaries
-Im sure support is available however, I have not used this myself
-There is a great deal of support from my managers and buddy's at work -There are meetings set up specifically to track my progress and to ensure I am getting exposure to the whole of my sector
-Travelling costs for me are particularly expensive circa £550 a month.
-There are company activites held such as dodgeball and drinks every month
