Smart Futures Review

Our role was part of the smart futures team and our daily tasks included lots of activities such as researching and then doing presentations. We interacted with those inside the company and those outside the company. We also got to know about what Ey employees actually do on their job and what is involved. We worked in teams doing different activities.

I have learned and developed man many new skills such as communication especially with all the presentations we had to do. I also built on my team work skills and confidence. I also revisited using excel. I also gained a CMI level 2 in team leading which is amazing. I also for the last week got to work in real professional environment which was great.

I really enjoyed the program because everyone that was with us was so kind and great to talk. I understood everything that was being taught and our activities were really fun. I think it was such a great experience. It over met my expectations because I didn't think it was going to be like this.

I feel valued by everyone in EY because they all took the time to talk to us and do an activity with us and even though it was planned we do have our freedom in between. We also were with people inside the organization and outside. We were really looked after.

The program was well organized however we all had our freedom in between. Our it training at the beginning was crucial because it got us on our laptops which was what we needed to do our CMI qualification. We also had all the support we needed because we could ask for advice and help. The tasks and days were also well organized because everyone was there when they needed to be there.

We got as much support as we needed when asked for help. They helped and guided us with any problems that we had even with our laptops some of us had to go to it to sort them out. It was really great because even though the training was really quick I think they did well in terms of helping and supporting us.

We received a lot of support even now I have a mentor for 10 months to help and guide me in whatever I want to do. Which is great because it shows they really care. When we were at Ey they really helped and supported us with any problems that we had.

My salary meets my costs and exceeds it as a student I don't have much costs but I got paid the average wage which was good enough for me since it wasn't really hard and tiring work that was doing. So I was really happy with it.

Yes there are many opportunities because once its on my cv everyone is impressed since its not an opportunity that many people have so it stands out and therefore can open many doors to me now. I think it was a great and exceptional opportunity.

Because it was an awesome opportunity that my friends should take a hold of since not many people get to have this opportunity. I think that it was amazing and I made some great friends. I would also do this whole experience if I could because it was so amazing.

I would tell them to apply because the application process wasn't very hard at all and the interview was quite easy. I would also tell them that it is a great experience where you get to do so many activities and have so many different opportunities. I would like to have been told that I should apply.
